Instructors at the Glasgow-based 1st Drive School of Motoring agree with their pupils that the Toyota Yaris makes the ideal car for learners. The instructors all use new Toyota Yaris T2 cars, either in three or five-door form obtained on contract hire through Lloyds TSB Autolease. Covering 25-30,000 miles a year, their replacement cycle is 18 months, with individual cars often passed on to new instructors after 12 months or so.
This years Paris Motor show from the 4th to the 19th of October will see Toyota unveiling the long awaited new third generation Toyota Avensis, its European flagship model. Featuring more powerful and cleaner engines that emit less CO2 improved quality and enhanced equipment levels; this new Avensis is set to push the boundaries of the D-segment in Europe. The new Toyota Avensis will project an athletic and sleek design, giving a strong and dynamic character to the car.
Toyota will be premiering no fewer than three new models at this years 2008 Paris Motor show. The cars will be showcased for their world premieres, from the 4th to the 19th of October. The stars of the show are the new generation Toyota Avensis, the iQ and the all new Urban Cruiser.
