Green car of the year the Toyota Yaris
Toyota certainly is a real force to be reckoned with after the new Toyota Yaris being named ‘Green Car of the Year 2008’. This wasn’t the only prized to be claimed by Toyota with the RAV4 being named the ‘greenest car’ in the ‘Off Road’ category and the new Aygo topping the ‘City’ category.
The Environmental Transport Association (ETA) started their annual Green Car Buyer’s Guide after reviewing more than 1300 vehicles currently on sale in the UK. The methodology used to class cars included CO2 emissions, fuel efficiency, power output and noise levels.
