The new 2.2 D-CAT 7-seat Toyota Verso
With the introduction of a 2.2 D-CAT 150 clean diesel engine, and an intelligent six-speed automatic transmission, Toyota’s seven-seater Verso achieves extra vivacious temptation.

The powertrain, also found in the Avensis, exhibits all the characteristics of Toyota Optimal Drive technologies, delivering pleasing performance with a smooth drive, economic fuel consumption and reduced emissions. Maximum power of 148bhp is provided at 3,600rpm and greatest torque of 340Nm is obtainable from just 2,000rpm giving impressive acceleration from 0-62mph in a fraction over 10 seconds Official combined cycle fuel economy is 41.5mpg and CO2 emissions are 178g/km. The use of Toyota’s D-CAT system with its maintenance-free particulate filter and four-way catalyst has resulted in simultaneous reductions in NOx and particulate emissions.
The six-speed automatic transmission adapts its shift pattern automatically in line with individual driving style and road conditions, with smooth and quiet shifts. The 2.2 D-CAT 150 automatic is available in Verso TR and T Spirit grades, both of which are fitted with 17-inch multi-spoke alloy wheels as standard.
